John Kenna, founder and President, is responsible for the overall direction and growth for Terrella Energy. John has worked in the fuel cell industry for over 20 years designing and managing fuel cells, including early adaptation and direct design responsibility for the world’s first 250 KW PEM fuel cell stack at Ballard Power Systems. While at Ballard Power, he also managed product development design teams on a wide range of fuel cell applications, from stationary to automotive. Prior to Ballard Power, his work experience includes Senior Designer for Hughes Research Laboratories in Malibu, Ca. and Manufacturing and Advance Programs Engineer at Hughes Missile Systems group in Tucson Arizona. John obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Arizona University as well as a Certificate in Manufacturing from UCLA.
Greg James, Director of Business Development, is responsible for developing business opportunities for Terrella Energy Systems, particularly using its key benefits for roll embossing methods for high-volume opportunities with graphite materials. Greg is the former Chief Engineer for hydrogen fuel cell pioneer, Ballard Power Systems. Through his 20 years at Ballard, Greg touched all aspects of the business as he actively participated in growing the company from a small R&D company to an industry leading entity. Greg has extensive knowledge in developing and converting business ideas into engineering and development requirements that can be put into high-volume manufacturing. Greg has 4 patents and holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from The University of Victoria.
